ACADEMY OF GOLDEN RULES: IN CHRIST YOU CAN BE THE BEST! 

Our Mission is to provide every child the opportunity to learn how to think, not what to think. A safe and uninhibited environment for children to express their creativity will be provided. Our curriculum is competitive and applicable for today’s society.

At The Academy of Golden Rules we believe every child deserves to be their best and shine. We offer daily care to children age six weeks to six years old and after school care with tutorial services for children ages 6 to 12 years.

We provide stimulating Christian Education using the "Abeka Curriculum."   This is an accelerated Christian Program that includes Phonics, Language Arts, Writing, Reading, Bible, Science and some Math. We use a supplemental math as well. Abeka enhances the development of reading readiness skills that promote family values and family involvement in an enriched learning environment which stimulates creativity. This curriculum helps build a successful foundation for learning, growth and development. We are a year round preschool that concentrates on academics, and Vacation Bible School along with Summer Camp.

In addition to our Christian foundation curriculum, we provide the following special services to best serve our communities early childhood needs:

Spanish Classes: Every age group has Spanish three times a week which is included in the price of tuition. Each lesson is taught through music, movement, art and interaction. They learn greetings, food, colors, numbers and nursery rhymes.

Sign Language: Every age group participates in this class which is not extra, but included in tuition. It is taught five days a week.

Computer Classes: This class is for the three’s on up. They have computer three times a week.

Dance: Creative Movement and Dance provides tap, ballet and dance at this site on Fridays. It is not included in the tuition. The cost is between the parent and the dance company. Payment is due directly to Creative Movement and Dance.

Martial Arts: KOKORO-BUSHI-DO KEMPO-KARATE, INC is a Christian non-profit organization that teaches the original martial arts of Okinawa. It is not included in the tuition, but can be paid at the same time. The classes are twice a week for a minimal fee.

After School Tutorial: This service is offered to the after school students who are bused from Walnut Grove Elementary School. It is included in the tuition.

Vacation Bible School: VBS is a fun way to present and teach about God and His Son Jesus using a lot of arts and crafts.

Summer Camp: Summer Camp entails sports, talent shows, barbecues, picnics, puppet shows, and other fun activities.
